J.D. Robb- Indulgence in Death

Indulgence in Death by J.D Robb Book number 35 in the series.

Eve and Roarke are on their vacation in Ireland when a body is found. Eve finally gets home and within the first hour is back on  a crime scene. Eve is investigating the worse kind of murder………….one that does it for the thrill.  She is forced to find a common link in what seems like random victims and murder scenes. Eve is made to investigate assosites in Roarkes circle while hoping there is not another tie to her husband like before.

We have a couple fights, which is usual, between Eve and Roarke but as always this couple pulls through as strong as ever. Eve struggles with her feelings as the body count rises and she is struggling to find the murder but will she find them before another body is found?

And here’s the summary for everyone:

First it was a limo driver shot through the neck with a crossbow. Then it was a high-priced escort found stabbed through the heart with a bayonet.

Random hits, thrill kills, murderers with a taste for the finer things in life-and death-are making NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas angry. And an angry Eve can be just as an efficient and dangerous predator as the killer.

As time runs out on another innocent victim’s life, Eve’s investigation will take her into the rarefied circle that her husband, Roarke, travels in-and into the perverted heart of madness…
